Hill to lead booksellers association

Hill Oct. 25, 2019 The $3.8M-revenue American Booksellers Association has chosen Allison Hill as CEO of the White Plains, N.Y.-based group, effective March 1. She will replace longtime CEO Oren Teicher, who is retiring at year end. Hill currently is CEO of 125-year-old Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, Calif. "I can't think of a better opportunity to exercise my passion for books, bookstores and changing the world through business than as the CEO of ABA," Hill said in a statement.
